About Me
Heather Jerrard
I like long walks on the beach (who doesn’t?!), collecting rocks and shells from the sand,
IPAs and Local Brews, Red Wine (not white), RV'ing, crochet and making other people laugh.

I moved to London in 2008 for a promising career as a Pharmacy Technician (PLOT TWIST!).

I have lived in India, studied design in Cairo, Egypt, volunteered in Haiti,
learned about garden history in Italy and explored gardens in Spain.

I have been working in the Landscape Profession since 2013 when I first attended the
Landscape Design Advanced Diploma program at Fanshawe College.

I have worked as a Horticulturalist at Whistling Gardens (check them out here: http://www.whistlinggardens.ca/)
and at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington (https://www.rbg.ca/)

I have my own theatre company which produces stage comedies (Maybles' Productions) and also perform as an actor.

In 2017, I married my husband (and fellow nerd) Darren.
Our toy poodle "Hugo Boss" and three rats (Bacon, Eggs and Beans) keep us busy.

I love to share my knowledge (and sometimes obsession) of plants and plant care,
incorporating a sense of intrigue, adding wonder or whimsy to outdoor spaces
and contributing to making this beautiful city - a more beautiful place to live, work and play.

I look forward to working with you!
